You are looking at a 100% Electric vehicle that was originally only sold in California. In 2018 it was imported from California to Illinois and is currently located in Mount Prospect, IL. This 2014 model has 400lbs of torque with a rating of 140hp. This is a 1LT that has the heated front seat option. 1LT trim level for the Spark EV means it has cloth seat inserts instead of the 100% fake leather (pleather) found in the 2LT version of this car. Being 100% electric, there is very little required maintenance since there is no oil changes. In 2018, 4 brand new tires were mounted that have a lot of life left now. A brake fluid flush was completed in February 2019. We added 35% window tint (this is legal for Illinois). This car color (called Titanium) is unique to the 2014 Spark EV. This was purchased as a Certified Pre-Owned car and currently has time remaining on that warranty until 2020 for Powertrain and until 2021 for EV Component warranty. The factory battery warranty is 8 years or 100,000 miles so there is plenty of mileage and time left on that as well until 2022. We are private party owners and actually own 2 Spark EVs but want to sell this one so we can purchase a longer range EV and have a balance of 1 short range and 1 longer range EV car. This car comes with a Level 1 charger from GM which means it can be plugged into a standard outlet at home to charge. We calculated it costs us approximately $1.50 in electricity to go 80 miles. This Spark also features Level 2 charging capability (which means 240 Volt charging) which we do own and use at home since we have the electrical set up in our garage for 240. Please note a Level 2 charger is NOT included with the car. Note the last photo here shows 2 Spark EVs charging which includes the one being listed here and our other one not included in this ad. For those who know more about the Nissan Leaf as an EV, I found this to be superior to that because it not only excels at 0-60 (or 0-30) but also is better handling AND superior battery management. The Spark EV has liquid cooled (or heated) batteries (Called TMS---Thermal Management System) unlike the Nissan Leaf which does not. The Spark EV battery pack will never degrade as quickly as your typical Leaf nor will there be charging problems because the battery pack gets too hot (another known issue with the Leaf). This is a clean Illinois title in our name to be signed over to the new owner. There have been no accidents with this car. This is a 'short range' EV which is conservatively factory rated at 82 mile range but we've been able to get 90 to 95 miles out of 1 charge with all city driving with plenty of regen involved. NOTE as stated in the condition section this is is a used car that does have some paint chips, scratches and some door dings. It is not 'showroom' perfect. NON-Smoker owned from day one. IMPORTANT NOTE is this car can be serviced (and warranty work should it be needed) at any Chevy dealer in the USA, Mexico or Canada that sells and services the Bolt or Volt.
